The top two fillies in 2017 Golden Slipper Stakes betting are accepted for a Royal Randwick clash this weekend in the Reisling Stakes field including odds-on favourite on Saturday She Will Reign.

Leading all-in markets at Ladbrokes.com.au on the $3.5 million Group 1 Golden Slipper Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill on March 18, the Gary Portelli-trained She Will Reign is already under $2 to continue her flawless record on Randwick Guineas Day.
Kicking off the Sydney race card as Randwick Race 1 at 12:25pm (AEDT), this seasonâs $300,000 Group 2 Affinity Shipping Reisling Stakes (1200m) attracted a final field of nine two-year-old fillies.
She Will Reign is drawn in barrier six with jockey Ben Melham retaining the ride on the classy daughter of Manhattan Rain who has won all three of her career starts to date.
The latest was a one and a half-length victory at Rosehill on February 18 in the Group 2 Silver Slipper Stakes (1100m) over the colts and geldings.
Back against her own gender this weekend, She Will Reign looks prime to handle the step-up to 1200m as she tracks towards a run in the worldâs richest race for juveniles.
Equal $8 second-elect in futures Golden Slipper odds with the Gerald Ryan-trained colt Menari is Toby Edmonds-trained I Am Invincible filly from the Gold Coast Houtzen.
She too is three-from-three leading into the weekendâs racing with her latest run producing the $2 million Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) victory in mid-January.
Her Golden Slipper Stakes lead-up run is yet to be set in stone however with the filly a dual acceptor on Saturday and also nominated for the Group 3 Black Opal Stakes in Canberra on Sunday.
Edmonds admitted his preferred next-up target for Houtzen was at Eagle Farm in Brisbane on Saturday in the Winning Edge Presentations QTS Two-Years-Old Handicap over 1000m.
She has been lumped with a hefty 63kg top weight â having to set a modern day weight-carrying record to win under those kilos – and is drawn out in barrier 11 (of 12) for that race.
That opens up a possible clash with She Will Reign in Sydney giving punters an early Golden Slipper Stakes form guide.
âI will have to have good think and decide on whether to run her in Brisbane,â Edmonds told AAP.
âI suppose I could claim but we will have to have a good think and discussion with the owners.
âMy preference was for Brisbane but that also depended on the weather. They are predicting heavy rain but it hasnât arrived as yet and hopefully it will stay away.
âShe needs to run this weekend and that is why we have given ourselves the three options.â
Other notable fillies in the Reisling Stakes 2017 field on the weekend include Michael Freedmanâs last start Inglis Classic winner at the track and distance Frolic and the Chris Waller-trained From Within out to atone for a 13th in the Magic Millions Classic.
