The Rick Worthington-trained daughter of Redouteâs Choice is one of eight two-year-old fillies facing off in this yearâs $300,000 Group 2 Reisling Stakes (1200m) running as Randwick Race 1 at 12:20pm (AEDT).
The race offers a ballot exemption to the winner for the $3.5 million Group 1 Golden Slipper Stakes (1200m) on March 19 and Honesty Prevails is the short $1.95 favourite through Ladbrokes.com.au to secure her spot in the worldâs richest race for juveniles.
She has had just the one start for one win to date in the Group 3 Widden Stakes (1100m) at Rosehill on January 30, which she won by a breezy two and a quarter lengths, and jumps from gate two this weekend.
Following the favourite in Reisling Stakes betting this Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival at $3 is the rails-drawn Calliope for John OâShea and the Godolphin stable.
To be ridden by gun Sydney hoop James McDonald, this daughter of Exceed And Excel also won on debut last October taking out the Listed Gimcrack Stakes (1000m) at Randwick by nearly two lengths.
She resumed on February 13 in Melbourne when fifth to Samara Dancer in the Group 2 Blue Diamond Fillies Prelude (1100m), a run sheâs tipped to improve on returning to Sydney second-up.
The last of the fillies under $10 in the latest Reisling Stakes odds at $7.50 is Zeladyâs Night Out, the Queensland visitor jumping from the outside alley with Tim Clark aboard.
Tony Gollan prepares the three-time winning Myboycharlie filly who is a dual black-type winner including the Group 3 BJ McLachlan Stakes (1200m) success on the Gold Coast.
Her latest start was at that same track when ninth to Golden Slipper-bound Capitalist in the $2 million Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m), and sheâs had the freshen-up since as she looks to return to winning form.
The next best in betting at more generous Fixed Win prices for the upset are Quick Feet ($11) and Moqueen ($17).
Peter & Paul Snowden, who also prepare Capitalist, train Northern Meteor filly Quick Feet who saluted over 1000m in November at Warwick Farm before her seventh in the Blue Diamond Prelude three weeks back at Caulfield.
The Anthony Cummings-trained Moqueen meanwhile raced for the first time on February 24 at Rosehill Gardens crossing just over half a length away fourth in a 1100m filliesâ maiden race so is up notably in class this weekend.
