Hot favourite in all-in Golden Slipper Stakes odds She Will Reign is the headline 2017 Reisling Stakes nomination taken for the Group 2 sprint this weekend in Sydney.

Offering a ballot exemption into the Golden Slipper field to the winner, the $300,000 Group 2 Reisling Stakes (1200m) is open to two-year-old fillies and is one of the highlights of Randwick Guineas Day each autumn.
Official Reisling Stakes nominations have been extended after Racing NSW took only eleven early entries for the lead-up to the $3 million Group 1 Golden Slipper Stakes (1200m) at Rosehill Gardens on March 18.
Heading the futures Golden Slipper betting markets at Ladbrokes.com.au, the undefeated Gary Portelli-trained She Will Reign is at $3 to win the Group 1 and already odds-on for her run this weekend.
The classy Manhattan Rain filly has won all three career starts to date after a smart one and a half-length victory first-up in the Group 2 Silver Slipper Stakes (1100m) on February 18.
She is now looking to continue her gun run into the worldâs richest race for juveniles via the Reisling Stakes, which last produced at Golden Slipper Stakes winner with Mossfun (2nd) in 2014).
She Will Reign pays $1.30 in pre-field Reisling Stakes betting, followed by From Within ($4.50) and Houtzen ($7).
A $21 roughie hope for the Golden Slipper win in 2017, From Within is prepared by Sydneyâs best Chris Waller and is out to atone for her disappointing 13th in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic on the Gold Coast in mid-January.
âFrom Within will run in the Reisling Stakes. She has come back well since the Magic Millions,â Waller told AAP.
The daughter of Not A Single Doubt has since won a barrier trial at Warwick Farm and with all the hype on the Waller stable and his star Winx, the bookies are taking no chances especially with the confirmed booking of Joao Moreira.
Moreira was on fire last weekend in Melbourne taking out the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate aboard Sheidel and also rides Cominâ Through for the Waller stable in the Group 1 Randwick Guineas (1600m) on Saturday.
The Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Houtzen meanwhile is the other key entry for the weekend, the Toby Edmonds-trained Queenslander the current equal $8 second favourite for the Golden Slipper behind She Will Reign.
A nicely-bred I Am Invincible filly, Houtzen is also unbeaten having won her opening three career starts in the Sunshine State.
If accepted into the Reisling Stakes field, it will be her maiden interstate assignment and will go a long way into staking her Golden Slipper Stakes claims.
Michael Freedman has entered for his daughter of Husson Frolic who comes off a smart Inglis Classic (1200m) win at the track and distance from the outside gate (12 of 12) on February 13.
She is well down Slipper betting at $41, but well-liked at $10 for the Group 2 this weekend.
